A threat actor on a popular dark-web marketplace claims to have access to a database containing login details, user roles, and other information about Airtel. To support the claims, the database details were published in a .csv file containing 6647 rows, most of which are of Airtel Nigeria staff. Other countries referenced in the list include; Niger, Gabon, Tanzania, Zambia, India, Congo, Kenya, Uganda, Malawi, and Chad.
The threat actor posted the database information on August 15, 2023, at 08:51 AM and modified it a few minutes later at 08:57 AM on the same day.

It is uncertain what the threat actor plans on doing with the leaked database but no fee was posted for the leak and it is still publicly accessible over the darkweb.
